How to Get to Notre Dame

Getting to Notre Dame is possible by air, by train, and by car.

By Plane
South Bend International Airport (SBN) is a 15 minute drive from campus. SBN is a regional airport served by Delta, American, and United with direct flights to hub airports Detroit, Chicago, Minneapols, and Atlanta. Other regional airports in driving distance include Chicago Midway (MDW - 1.5 hours), Chicago O'Hare (ORD - 2 hours), and Indianapolis (IND - 2.5 hours)

By Train
South Bend is served nationally by Amtrak and is also from downtown Chicago via the South Shore Line.

By Car
Notre Dame is directly served by Interstate 80/90 Exit 72 and is easily reached by car from points in the Midwest.


Social Event Locations

The Conference Hotel

The Conference Hotel is the Morris Inn at the heart of the Notre Dame campus, just across the block from the conference sessions. Additional hotels are in walking distance in the Eddy Street Commons area, and within driving distance in downtown South Bend and the Roseland area. (Information about hotel blocks to follow soon.)

Workshop Sessions

Workshop Sessions on the Sunday preceding the main conference will be held in meetings rooms at the Morris Inn.

Main Conference Sessions

Main Conference Sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be held in the 7th floor ballroom of the Duncan Student Center. The Monday night poster session and reception will be held in the reception hall overlooking the historic stadium.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner on the second night of the conference will be held at the Studebaker National Museum in downtown South Bend, with busing provided from conference hotels.
